Each January, a team from Light of Cambodia travels to Pursat to serve alongside the local pastors, teachers, and leaders who are already doing this work, week after week.

This is not a trip to run programs from the outside. The ministry in Pursat runs all year without us, led by Seng Sophanna and the Cambodia team.
Going is a chance to show up in person for relationships that carry on the other fifty-one weeks of the year, and to bring real, tangible support to the children and families we walk alongside.

You do not need a ministry title or a special skill set. Travelers help with children's lessons, spend time with families, and support the local team in whatever the week calls for.
Everyone who travels works through a traveler packet first: a release form, emergency contacts, a field commitment policy, safeguarding training, and our guides on speaking with dignity and using photos well. We would rather prepare people properly than send them unprepared.
